The Role

As a Technical Services Engineer, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and providing support for Infrastructure Hosting services. While working in this role, you will collaborate with Level 3 Technical Services colleagues and handle a range of responsibilities. The successful candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills and be capable of working independently while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support to customers, assisting with hardware and software-related queries and issues.
• Engage directly with customers to resolve problems effectively.
• Be adaptable and willing to take on additional responsibilities as the role evolves to meet changing needs.

• Strong experience with VMWare.
• Proficient in the administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, RDS, File Services, Certificate Services, and Server Administration (2008 and above).
• Familiarity with server backup technologies.
• Knowledgeable in incident, problem, and change management.
• Competent in server patching techniques and tools.
• Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting techniques.
• A basic understanding of general networking (e.g. routing, firewall, wireless AP).
• Experience with Computer Infrastructure in a data center environment.
• Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and Exchange 2016 technologies.
• Knowledge of the Citrix Virtualisation technology suite.
• Understanding of Enterprise/Event Management.
• Demonstrates professionalism and delivers high levels of customer satisfaction.
