VMWare Infrastructure Consultant (£55k)

Enso Recruitment is working with a leading Cloud Solutions Provider based in Belfast to recruit an infrastructure consultant.

In this job, you will be responsible for helping to install, maintain, operate, and configure computer hardware and software and to provide a variety of technical duties as required.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with technical architects to deploy cutting-edge technologies to customers.
• Gain expertise in large managed service platforms and take ownership of infrastructure and platform issues.
• Proactively transfer product skills and knowledge to customers during project engagement.
• Ability to estimate effort and set customer expectations, and work with teams to migrate legacy environments.
   

Required Experience

• Experienced with VMware ESXi server platforms, Blade Server (Synergy) hardware, and SAN solutions (notably HPE).
• Proficient in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting backup services (notably Veam) and Windows Server platforms.
• Sound knowledge of general networking principles and TCP/IP.
• Knowledgeable in formal project management and service delivery best practices procedures.
• Capable of implementing and maintaining hardware and software solutions in a Datacentre Environment.
