Senior Front End Developer / Team Lead

Enso Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled individual to join one of Northern Ireland’s leading companies in software insurance.

They are looking for a Team Lead to lead a team of engineers based in Romania and remotely. As Team Lead, you are responsible for leading an agile team to deliver high-quality solutions to meet customer and business requirements.

This is an opportunity to lead and develop a new team and continue as a hands-on developer, with the potential for further management responsibility as the team grows.

Reporting to the Head of IT, you will be an experienced front-end developer with strong UX/UI experience and capabilities and want to maintain a hands-on development role. You will collaborate with the Online Marketing team, their media agencies, and other engineers to design and optimize fantastic new cross-platform, cross-browser user experiences.

Requirements:

• Circa 2 years’ experience as a Team Lead or in a senior role within a development team.
• Demonstrable experience in coaching and mentoring
• Significant experience in front end development and UX/UI application
• Expert in HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
• At least 3 years’ experience with Vue or other JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React
• Expert in CSS pre-processors such as SASS or LESS
• Experience with source control systems such as Git or SVN
• Experience of consuming APIs using Vue
