Senior Technical Analyst - .NET or Java

Enso Recruitment is delighted to be partnered with a leader in Insurance Software Implementation and Professional Services to recruit for the fantastic role of Senior Technical Analyst.

The Role

As a Technical Analyst, you will work closely with both internal and external teams to address their technical and business needs and build technical solutions within an agile environment. You will play a key role in the delivery of projects whilst building strong relationships with external clients, on a global scale!
 

The Person

• BSC in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3 – 5 years software experience (preferably in the insurance industry)
• Clear understanding of insurance processes and knowledge of full insurance lifecycle i.e., policy administration, rating, billing, underwriting, claims, renewals etc
• Commercial development experience in an object-oriented programming language (preferably Java, JavaScript or .Net)
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Ability to document designs and estimate solutions for low complexity product gaps and enhancements
• Previous experience working with technologies related to a software development role (Git, agile tools, build automation tools etc)
• Track record of producing quality code utilising best practices
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal, are important to liaise with clients to interpret their issues into technical solutions
• Proven experience leading small to medium sized development teams
• Experience of working collaboratively in a team environment to build and update technical documents according to customer specifications
• Self-motivated individual with strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to travel to customer sites as required
