Senior Software Engineer - Java

Enso Recruitment is currently seeking a Java Developer for a respected employer in the SaaS sector. The company is known for developing advanced software to help global businesses manage subscription expenses effectively.

Location: Belfast (Hybrid 1 -2 days per week) 

Job Summary:

The successful applicant will be involved in designing, implementing, and testing Java code for a key software product. This role requires collaboration with both the Product Management and Client Success teams to enhance and troubleshoot the product.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the company's software products.
• Participate throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Work independently on complex tasks with the opportunity for autonomous decision-making.
• Identify and resolve software issues.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Solid experience in Java development, with at least 3 years in the field.
• Experience with large codebases and understanding their maintenance and enhancement.
• Knowledge of relational databases and familiarity with front-end development frameworks like Angular is advantageous.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.
• Effective time management and prioritisation abilities.
• Competence in writing technical documentation, such as design specifications and release notes.

Salary: £45,000 to £55,000
