Our client is a world leader in supply chain logistics, with innovative products focusing on complex digital transformations, process streamlining & real time data analytics and reporting. This is an exciting time as they embark on major projects with some of the largest retailers in the world and require an experienced Software Architect or Lead Software Engineer with a passion for developing simple software solutions, creating great user experiences & designing scalable solutions for real business challenges.

As a Software Architect, you will be paramount in the production and development of cutting edge, innovative solutions that fit in with the development plan for the business. The Software Architect will have significant experience working on the .NET Framework along with other skills including C#, JavaScript (React), JSON, and SQL Server.

The Role

• Develop new and build upon existing solutions for both local and international clients
• Assist in leading the development team throughout the entire Software Development Lifecycle
• Work on new product development, implementing new tools and technologies and shaping the product direction
• Building Front-end components that can be used across a wide range of products
• Create and complete testing scripts on code, to ensure what has been developed operates accordingly
• Work collaboratively across all teams in the business to ensure best practices are maintained
• Partake in all brainstorming, strategy meetings and innovation processes to help guide the direction of the system
• Work closely with the commercial team to understand each client's individual needs and develop with the user in mind

The Skills

• A real passion for code with experience in a full stack environment covering ideally React & .NET or .NET Core
• Previous exposure to cloud technologies
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Experienced in developing new tools to be used across new and existing products
• A proven track record of working collectively to meet deadlines
• A high level of understanding of Agile Methodologies
• Demonstration of experience of object-orientate design patterns and have an awareness of SOLID principles

Technical Skills:

• Languages: C#, JavaScript, JSON, and SQL Server.
• Frameworks: .NET.
• Front-end: JSON, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components and JavaScript libraries
• Relational Databases: MySQL
