Senior DevOps Engineer

Permanent, Belfast

Enso are delighted to be hiring on a behalf of a Software Product house as they seek to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer. Excellent package on offer including a 4 day working week, a 10% bonus and stock options.

You will lead a team of engineers maintaining and automating a large cloud-based computing environment supporting one of our client's key platforms.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain cloud-based services.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters.
• Drive an evolution of services to support cloud-native managed services.
• Drive efforts to enhance cloud infrastructure security.
• Collaborate on CI/CD (TeamCity) pipelines to automate software deployment.
• Define and maintain cloud engineering best practices and standards to ensure design and implementation consistency.

What experience is required?

• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS).
• Extensive expertise in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and databases (at least one of MySQL, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch)
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, GitHub Actions, AWS), and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, effective in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent experience in Infrastructure-As-Code (IaC) best practices (Terraform).
• Experience in software development in general, with skills in a high-level language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java) and familiarity with modern development practices
