Our client is one of the world’s leading E-Commerce Organisations and we are recruiting for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join their Belfast based software research team.

The Role
Automate and maintain cloud-based development, test and production environments
Design infrastructure solutions that ensure availability, performance, scalability and security
Automate and streamline build & deploy processes
Build, release and configuration management of test and production infrastructure code.
System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
Skills Requirements
Essential
3+ years working in a modern DevOps role or in a Software Engineering role where there is a strong DevOps culture.
Exposure to modern CI/CD pipeline practices
Experience in working with Containers (e.g. Docker) & Container Orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, Helm)
Experience in working with Microservice-based architectures
Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, Perl, JavaScript)
Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.
Able to demonstrate an interest in new and emerging technologies and be eager to take on new challenges
