Senior Business Development Manager

This is an opportunity to support every step of any transformation journey. Design, build and deploy solutions across five specialist areas (Responsive Digital Services, Effective Mobile Working, intelligent Case Management, Digital Workplace Solutions and Trusted Data Analytics).

With specialisms in Digital Transformation and tasked with designing and delivering smart, integrated, cloud software and IoT solutions to high end clients - our client has been the market leader in their field are highly commended and respected in the local NI market. Key Responsibility:

  • Be responsible for generating new business sales opportunities within the Northern Ireland Public Sector.
  • Define and execute new business sales campaigns.
  • Produce written proposals of a high standard that make a compelling case for the prospective client to procure solutions.
  • Integrate personal sales efforts with organised marketing activities, e.g. product launches, targeted campaigns and exhibitions.
  • Manage pipeline to ensure that incremental gross margin targets are met consistently month-on-month.
  • Maximise the opportunity for revenue recognition by means of well-balanced payment profiles for contracted business.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Product Roadmap through identification of customer requirements to facilitate the development of profitable products and services.

 

The candidate

The ideal candidate will be a motivated and embody the following behaviours & competencies:

You will have 1+ years’ of commercial experience working across any of the required technologies above and you will have a genuine interest and enthusiasm to learn and apply new technical skills.

You also must have:

  • Understands customers and fosters a partnership to solve their problems using solutions and products to maximise value to the customer
  • Takes full ownership for achieving personal/team target. Is planned, rigorous and agile, shapes the task and makes it happen
  • Approaches sales challenges in the ‘right way’, is fair, honest and always takes responsibility
  • Uses deep market insight and fresh thinking to challenge customers to think differently and to take action
  • Inspires and, coaches the team to exceed high standards, challenging them to always do more
  • Ambitious and action oriented. Is resilient, tenacious, positive, and determined
  • Constantly seeks and acts on feedback, learning and coaching in order to improve personal performance and results
