Enso Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a leading software client in Belfast who are seeking to add a Software Automation Engineer to their Enterprise Systems Technology team. This exciting, new role will be responsible for the effective, on-time delivery of innovative automated solutions in support of critical business processes across the company. This team member will be a key contributor to the execution of the strategic alignment between IT and leadership to achieve maximum growth and success for the business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for the on-time delivery of automated technology solutions across the business by designing end-to-end solutions using both Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Azure technologies
• Develop, document and support existing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions utilizing Automation Anywhere software.
• Partner with the Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) as well as business area leadership to define, develop and optimize the automation candidate pipeline
• Translate business process/user requirements into Power Platform design and solutions
• Adhere to, drive and maintain automation industry standards and best practices throughout the technical architecture and solutions.  Drive process and data quality.
• Develop, test and maintain Power Platform solutions integrated with a variety of technology components and data resources within the SharePoint and Azure infrastructures. Conduct pilots and recommend go/no-go decisions. Verify production acceptance standards are met which enable the team to meet established client service level goals.
• Provide expert level support services for all issues related to Power Platform solutions elevated from the Technical Support team.  Troubleshoot and resolve chronic and catastrophic problems.
• Collaborate between business units, architecture, operations, and security on the development and implementation of solutions that meet operational and compliance standards while meeting relevant regulatory requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years of experience developing Low-code or No-code solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant qualifications and experience
• Experience designing and deploying Robotic Process Automation solutions using RPA tools including Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Power Automate or UIPath
• Experience using scripting and development tools and languages such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, Perl or C++ to deliver IT systems
• Experience with web API or RESTful service integrations
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, with an understanding of the integration between Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Services
• A team player with good interpersonal skills able to foster a sense of community amongst teams
