Senior QA Manager : Banking, Data Factory Experience

Contract: Hybrid Dublin -6 Months minimum

Excellent Daily Rate

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Manager with a deep understanding of Data Factory. The ideal candidate should have exceptional knowledge of modern QA techniques and technologies, and a strong attention to detail.

The Senior QA Manager will be responsible for implementing data factory processes, testing and maintaining quality assurance, and ensuring compliance at all levels. The successful candidate will possess a superb problem-solving mindset and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data factory processes, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Execute unit and integration tests for data factory-related applications and projects.
• Analyze and debug data factory processes and bugs.
• Monitor the quality and performance of data factory systems.
• Ensure that all data factory projects adhere to regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on data factory implementations and testing and recommendations.
• Integration with DevOps Centre of Excellence for Tooling and best CI/CD practice.
• Track and manage KPI metrics to alignment with enterprise test strategy and tools, driving automation ROI, reporting and continually enhancing automation.
• Develop and maintain Test schedules, track and forecast project costs and labour hours, and manage project risks.
• Collaborate with service partners and suppliers to deliver projects to high quality, on the Support and Guide the team member on Test queries
• Review the different Test phases to ensure smooth deliveries.
• Recommend and implement new and innovative approaches for Testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development or QA and a broad knowledge of data factory.
• Proficiency in coding languages and databases, such as SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools, such as JIRA.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance techniques and test automation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
