QA Manager
Our client is a leading and award-winning software company based in Northern Ireland and we're seeking a dynamic Software Test Manager to lead their talented testing team.
The Role
As a Software Test Manager you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. You will lead a team of skilled software testers and work closely with development and quality assurance teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software testers to ensure they deliver their best work and grow professionally.
• Test Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive test strategy, including test plans, test cases, and testing methodologies to meet project objectives.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality assurance process, ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards and are free of defects.
• Automation: Drive test automation efforts to improve efficiency and accuracy in testing processes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to identify testing needs and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage potential risks and issues related to software quality and testing, proactively addressing them to minimize impact.
• Reporting: Generate and communicate test reports, progress updates, and key metrics to project stakeholders and senior management.
• Resource Management: Manage testing resources, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Software Test Manager or in a similar leadership role within the software testing domain.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.

Salary Package

• Base Salary up to £70k
