QA Manager Our client is a leading and award-winning software company based in Northern Ireland and we're seeking a dynamic Software Test Manager to lead their talented testing team. The Role As a Software Test Manager you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. You will lead a team of skilled software testers and work closely with development and quality assurance teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software testers to ensure they deliver their best work and grow professionally.
Test Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive test strategy, including test plans, test cases, and testing methodologies to meet project objectives.
Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality assurance process, ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards and are free of defects.
Automation: Drive test automation efforts to improve efficiency and accuracy in testing processes.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to identify testing needs and ensure alignment with project goals.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Risk Management: Identify and manage potential risks and issues related to software quality and testing, proactively addressing them to minimize impact.
Reporting: Generate and communicate test reports, progress updates, and key metrics to project stakeholders and senior management.
Resource Management: Manage testing resources, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Software Test Manager or in a similar leadership role within the software testing domain.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products.
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
