Enso Recruitment is delighted to partnered with a growing software house, who have developed ground-breaking, and data driven SaaS products, to recruit for the role of Senior Software QA Engineer. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will take the lead on Quality Assurance within the development, whilst building test automation frameworks and managing the manual testing environment.
The Role
Take responsibility for the testing of product releases.
Play a key role in implementing an automation approach for the testing of products.
Ability to create, edit and maintain automated and manual test suites.
Work directly with the developers and designers on delivering product requirements.
Contribute to Sprint Planning and estimation of stories and tasks.
Oversee the QA testing effort of the product suite.
Develop and execute test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements.
Coach and mentor 1-2 junior members of the QA team.
Help improve the overall approach to quality across their product suite.
The Skills
At least 4 years of QA experience
Ability to manage your own work priorities and those of others on the QA team.
Experience implementing and maintaining automation frameworks.
Extensive test management, defect tracking, and requirements management experience.
Experience of automated testing, API testing and manual testing of a responsive web application.
Passion for quality, engineering best practice and practical experience at embedding this culture in a team.
Experience of testing and releasing SaaS applications.
Familiarity with cloud technologies and architecture (e.g., AWS, CloudFront, RDS, CDNs, CI/CD principles)
