Enso Recruitment is currently working with a brand-new US FDI organisation that has recently set up in Belfast, who are currently hiring for the fantastic role of Product Owner.
This is a well-established global business that has been operating for over 60 years in the technology manufacturing and engineering sector in the US and is now setting up a new site in Belfast to focus on leading transformational programs and projects within their business.
As Product Owner, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team who manage and support enterprise applications. You will primarily be responsible for the product vision and IT roadmap for their Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate has excellent stakeholder management skills as well as a strong technical aptitude for the end-to-end workings of Salesforce.
In this role you will work with business stakeholders to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals, creating and maintaining a product backlog according to business value or ROI. In line with agile best practices you will be responsible for overall development, user stories, ongoing management of the backlog, and keeping all stakeholders updated with regular updates and reporting.
The Role
Define, prioritize and ensure a ready backlog of work aligned with business requirements
Employ agile methodologies for delivery
Create high quality user stories and acceptance criteria
Effectively manage a backlog of deliverables and capabilities, measuring performance and adjusting the overall roadmap of deliverables as needed
Work with technical team to establish development effort estimates and product planning
Actively mitigate roadblocks impacting successful team completion of release/sprint goals
Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
Lead in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Demos and Retrospectives
Engage with cross-functional teams to identify dependencies and impacts
Triage new requests and issues
Provide feedback on work-in-progress and identify areas for continuous improvement
Share best practices across teams to ensure alignment and consistency in ways of working within a value stream
The Skills
3+ years’ product ownership experience
In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies
Established background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping and iterative development
Experience in Salesforce development and Salesforce Admin
Understanding of Salesforce products
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Team-focused mentality and a commitment to continuous learning and improving
Excellent written and verbal communication at both the business and technical level
Desirable but not Essential Skills
Relevant certifications or qualifications in Product Management or aligned disciplines
Experience using Salesforce APIs and ETL platforms to integrate with other systems
Working knowledge of SAP
Experience in CRM business processes
Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud (Lightning Platform), Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, Analytics Cloud.
