Are you passionate about shaping the future of AI and machine learning? Our client is seeking a talented Lead Machine Learning Engineer to define strategy for Generative AI internally and drive the Machine Learning/AI transformation agenda across the company. This role offers the chance to be a subject matter expert in machine learning and artificial intelligence, guiding the development team in modernising and scaling our data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute strategy for Generative AI internally, shaping the company's Machine Learning/AI transformation agenda.
• Lead the development and automation of scalable machine learning pipelines in cloud ecosystems (Azure).
• Identify and address gaps in existing data infrastructure, deploying solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contribute to core infrastructure, libraries, and documentation, collaborating with senior members of the development team.
• Continuously iterate and scale Generative AI products, aligning with customer needs through collaboration with Customer Success and Product teams.
• Create technical standards and blueprints for AI scenarios across the product offering.
• Educate employees on Generative AI from both IT and business perspectives.
• Perform day-to-day project management to ensure successful, on-time releases, demonstrating ownership and accountability for the team's delivery.
• Consult with other departments on project status or technical issues.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Machine Learning engineering experience in a SaaS environment.

Technical Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Python and C#.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and SQL database design.
• Experience designing and maintaining platform services integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with MLOps and components of the Machine Learning/ML Ops ecosystem.
• Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Experience building streaming systems with large amounts of data and complex aggregation logic.
• Project management experience in Agile software development processes.
• Strong familiarity with Test-Driven Development.
