As an IT Support Engineer, you will provide technical expertise within a fast-paced environment ensuring quality and processes are at the forefront of your role. This role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, installing, and configuring hardware and software, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. The IT Support Engineer will also assist with IT projects and initiatives, such as system upgrades and network enhancements.
The Skills:
Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical individuals effectively.
Exceptional customer service orientation, adept at performing well under pressure.
Comprehensive understanding of computer systems, operating systems, and networking principles.
Demonstrated experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining both Windows and Linux-based systems.
Familiarity with essential networking protocols such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
Competence in virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Ability to function effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic work environment.
Preferred possession of relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field.
2-4 years of experience in IT infrastructure support or related roles.
