Enso Recruitment is pleased to offer an exceptional career opportunity for an IT Engineer on behalf of our client in the sustainable transport space. 

Role Overview:

  • As an IT Engineer, you will join a compact and highly efficient team responsible for a wide range of tasks:
    • Efficient management of service desk tickets.
    • Active support in the ongoing migration to Microsoft Azure cloud.
    • Participation in special projects, such as the installation of IT systems on boats.
    • Establishment and management of physical infrastructure, including tasks like running cables across manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing IT and data strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
  • Maintenance and development of IT systems, network, and data infrastructure to meet set Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Providing technical support and IT infrastructure for the delivery of technical projects in collaboration with engineering and software teams.
  • Contributing to the internal helpdesk, supporting company ERP and business systems.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in infrastructure management, including networks and Active Directory.
  • Proficiency in DNS/DHCP, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in IT service desk management and infrastructure maintenance.

Person Specifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field is preferable.
  • Desirable certifications include CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, and Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.

Salary and Benefits Package:

  • Competitive salary up to £40,000, depending on experience.
  • Discretionary bonus potential between 5-10%.
  • An innovative long-term incentive plan offering up to 20% of annual salary at the end of two years, effective from April 1st and pro-rated.
