Infrastructure Solution Architect - £75k

Enso Recruitment is working with a leading Cloud Solutions Provider based in Belfast to recruit an infrastructure architect.

Examples of Current Work / Pipeline:

• Design and integrate data centre infrastructures: This includes working with application and business architects to understand customer requirements, designing and implementing infrastructure solutions, and testing and commissioning infrastructure systems.
• Have a strong background in infrastructure architecture: This includes knowledge of leading infrastructure platforms and technologies, such as HPE platforms, VMware, Microsoft Server, and MS SQL.
• Have experience with hybrid cloud integrations with Azure: This includes the ability to design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud solutions that integrate Azure with on-premises infrastructure.
• Work as part of a wider architectural team: This includes the ability to collaborate with other architects, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver complex infrastructure projects.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
 

• Translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
• Understand managed services and lead change in those environments.
• Infrastructure Design experience – HPE Platforms & VMware Virtualisation
• Design and implement infrastructure solutions using HPE platforms and VMware virtualization.
• Integrate infrastructure solutions with other systems and applications.
• Lead and manage technical teams through the change process.
• Create, manage, and escalate RAID issues.
• Manage and negotiate with third-party vendors.
• Provide consultancy to clients on infrastructure matters.
• Get buy-in from technical teams to deliver changes and migrations.
• Escalate issues to the programme team effectively.

Experience
 

• 5+ years’ experience as an Infrastructure Solution Architect in an Enterprise Environment
• Requirements to solution translation
• Creation of High and Low Level Designs
• Solution Leadership in delivering designs and working with technical implementation peers as point of escalation during implementation phase
• Confident in dealing with and delivering for customers
• Service integration of disparate service offerings into solutions
