As the Head of Commercial, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to accelerate the growth and adoption of this innovative SaaS software product. In leading the growth of this platform, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve revenue targets, maximise customer satisfaction, and establish this product as an industry leader globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive the growth and market penetration of our SaaS software product.
Revenue Generation: Drive revenue generation through effective sales and marketing strategies, managing key accounts, and identifying new business opportunities.
Customer Acquisition: Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies, including lead generation, customer segmentation, and conversion optimisation.
Business model evolution: leading the development of investment management strategy to identify options for future scaling and engage potential investors.
Partnerships and Alliances: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships and alliances to expand market reach, drive customer acquisition, and enhance brand visibility.
Customer Success: Work closely with the customer success team to ensure high customer satisfaction, customer retention, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Product Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritise features and define product roadmaps.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research, analyse industry trends, and identify customer needs to inform product development and market positioning.
Performance Tracking: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track the effectiveness of commercial activities, providing regular reports and analysis to the leadership team.
Team Growth: Grow and lead a team of sales and marketing professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Proven experience in a senior commercial role, preferably as a Head of Commercial or similar, within a global software, professional services or consultancy organisation.
Strong track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in the software industry.
Deep understanding of SaaS business models, marketing strategies, and customer acquisition methods.
Exposure to software product planning, developing product roadmaps, defining product requirements and prioritising product features.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to make data-driven decisions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
Global market knowledge and experience working with international clients and teams is highly desirable.
Experience in the consultancy or professional services industry is a plus.

Base Salary: £60,000-80,000
