Enso is recruiting for an Engineering Manager, partnering with a client who are a next-generation, evidence-based, personalised healthcare company enabling improved patient outcomes and more effective treatment decisions for critical illnesses.
Role Description:
As an Engineering Manager, you will work collaboratively across multiple departments and multiple sites, being a strong quality advocate and having a proven ability to initiate new ideas and concepts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of all Engineers.
As an Engineering Manager you will also lead and manage software engineers responsible for the development and testing of products and take responsibility for their career development. Strong technical skills are a requirement coupled with an innovative approach regarding maximization of quality.
The Person
Lead execution and on-time delivery of cloud data projects.
Provide coaching, career development, and mentoring to team members.
Communicate status, risks, and offer mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery of all committed projects to cross functional teams and upper management.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and high performance within the team
Recruit and retain top engineering talent.
Implement a DevOps process for rapid development and stable operations
The Skills
5+ years’ experience in implementing application and programs developed in C# .NET or Java, SQL Server or Oracle, JavaScript Frameworks
Minimum of two years’ experience working in an Agile/Lean environment
Technical leader and coach, aware of applicability of new technologies
Demonstrable experience in overall architecture and software design for products and solutions
Advanced understanding and experience working in a Lean or Agile environment, continuous integration/continuous deployment, and other Dev Ops best practices
Demonstrable experience with web application development
Demonstrable experience with distributed environments
