The company is looking for a Data Analytics Architect to join their growing team of data experts. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team who manage and support Data Analytics portfolio across the business.
The Day to Day:
You will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams.
Support our software developers, database architects, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.
As a key member of the Data Engineering Team, you will be responsible for enabling and supporting the business analytics and reporting needs, by leveraging and implementing various business intelligence tools.
Heavy emphasis will be placed on developing self-service dashboard capabilities and delivering business value through the design and implementation of business intelligence solutions, leveraging data that spans multiple data sources.
Responsible for the day-to-day activities related to the implementation of new services and support for existing services.
Also contributes actively to the overall development and delivery of IT capabilities required to support business growth and provide competitive advantage.
This job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):
The ideal candidate is an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up.
Hands-on experience in building and managing Data platforms, data pipelines and data streams for large scale projects leveraging public cloud technologies
Experience with ETL (Informatica or Talend), Data Modelling, Data Warehousing and working with large scale datasets
Good understanding of data visualization tools such as Power BI / Tableau
Ideally some proficiency with Java / Python programming and extensive SQL experience.
