Cyber Security Analyst

Enso Recruitment is currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join a leading organization in Belfast and London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-scaling start-up that is focused on the security of critical machine-to-machine (M2M) communications, particularly across Smart Cities and Smart Mobility.

Responsibilities:

As a Cyber Security Analyst specialized in OT/IT red team assessments, you will be responsible for developing reliable and secure hardware and software authentication and encryption products. You will be reporting to the CTO and Engineering Lead and will work closely with the senior management team and key stakeholders within the company.
 

• Develop and implement effective IT/OT cybersecurity assessment strategies to identify threats and mitigate risks
• Review and evaluate low-level and high-level designs of IT/OT environments in accordance with industry standards
• Assess the architecture and design of IT/OT communication authentication and encryption solutions to identify potential areas of risk
• Provide technical advice and support to the engineering and sales teams
• Conduct research into future attack vectors for IT/OT systems

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be qualified in the following areas:
 

• Experience working in a security role, specializing in assessing cybersecurity risks for IT/OT systems and recommending effective security controls.
• Demonstrable knowledge of best practices and techniques for conducting cybersecurity assessments in IT/OT environments.
• Familiarity with common protocols within IT/OT systems (e.g. MODBUS, DNP3, S7, OPC, HTTP, SMB, DNS).
• Proven experience in incident response, cyber kill-chain, and the Mitre ATT&CK framework.
