COO (Established Tech Start-Up)

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Chief Operating Officer with one of Northern Ireland’s most successful tech start-up organisations.
They have grown from strength to strength over a period of 10 years and the COO role will help to accelerate further planned growth within the organisation.

Role Overview
 

• Overseeing the operations of the marketing, sales, finance, customer service, technology and production areas
• Oversee ongoing operations and procedures, reporting to the CEO
• Identifying and setting tactical short-term performance and growth goals
• Leading and motivating teams to increase performance and improve results
• Measuring performance of teams, products and services and recommend improvement strategies
• Reporting performance of the business to the board
• Building and managing relationships with suppliers, vendors, partners and clients
• Assisting the CEO with raising capital for the business
• Creating an enabling work environment and positive company culture

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior management role, ideally within SME tech company
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, finance or other relevant disciplines.
• In-depth knowledge of managing multi-disciplinary teams, including experience of marketing, strategic planning and corporate finance
• Ability to manage comprehensive budgets and business operations
• Exceptional leadership and organisational skills
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
• Proficiency in business development
• Ability to work with data analysis tools, accounting software and industry-specific technologies
• A good understanding of new and emerging technologies

Salary Package

• Base Salary: £70-90k Negotiable
