Our client is currently in search of a seasoned Site Reliability engineer to become an integral part of their dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with a dedicated and ambitious team to craft groundbreaking software solutions that cater to the global cybersecurity awareness market. Key Responsibilities:
Responding to incidents, managing escalations, and performing troubleshooting activities.
Real-time monitoring of Cloud Platform performance to ensure optimal and reliable service for customers.
Generating comprehensive documentation on cloud computing systems, processes, and relevant knowledge.
Supporting and maintaining all aspects of the infrastructure.
Deployment, enhancement, and support of Infrastructure Engineering practices.
Upholding security standards across all platform levels.
Implementing and supporting automation activities within a CI/CD environment.
Building, deploying, and supporting Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Advocating for and participating in the change management process.
Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, swiftly identifying and resolving issues.
Effective communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
Active participation in an out-of-hours rota for major incidents and releases.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cloud infrastructure.
Proficiency in agnostic cloud services such as private/public networks, DNS, security services, load balancers, gateways, and firewalls.
Experience in configuring and supporting SaaS software in a public cloud environment.
Autonomous troubleshooting skills for complex issues.
Demonstrated experience with either AWS services (EC2, Lambda, SES, Athena, S3, RDS) or Azure services (App services, API, Cloud Services, Storage accounts, Redis Cache, CDN, Key vaults).
Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement and automation.
Knowledge and experience with Linux Debian.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.
Operational experience in using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Arm templates.
Knowledge and/or experience with databases like MSSQL, MySQL, MariaDB.
Familiarity with DNS, DMARC, DKIM, SPF & DNSSEC.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, and a proactive "get the job done" attitude.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Cloud-specific certifications:
AWS Cloud Practitioner, with one or more of the following: SysOps Administrator, Advanced Networking, Security, or DevOps Engineer.
Azure Fundamentals, with one or more of the following: Azure Administration, Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure Developer, Azure Security Engineer.
