Enso Recruitment is delighted to be partnered with a market leading software company who are revolutionising their growing sector, to recruit for the role of Sales Manager.

As Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal part in promoting and selling their innovative products to both existing and new regions – ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. Joining at this key time will enable you to craft and implement new sales strategies, whilst building an environment focused on quality sales.

You will be instrumental in shaping the future of both the sales environment and overall company ethos, having a seat around the table to influence key business decisions.

The Role

  • Assist the CEO in crafting a comprehensive sales strategy and establishing attainable sales objectives.
  • Foster and expand business relationships with both current and prospective clients.
  • Oversee new client engagement, from assessing their suitability to creating proposals, managing responses, documenting interactions, and ensuring follow-ups to secure orders.
  • Provide regular updates to the CEO and collaborate with the broader team to optimize sales performance.
  • Grow a high-performing sales team.
  • Coordinate with technical experts to address customer inquiries.
  • Utilize and manage the CRM system effectively.
  • Conduct meetings with clients and prospects as necessary.
  • Strategically deploy sales resources to capitalise on opportunities within the current client base.
  • Partner with the marketing department to produce relevant sales and promotional materials and actively participate in marketing initiatives.
  • Negotiate pricing within predetermined guidelines set with the CEO.
  • Report monthly to the Management Team on sales KPIs and activities, including relevant competitive activity, and recommend actions were deemed necessary.

The Skills

  • Demonstrated success in sales leadership roles within B2B sales, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Ability to grasp technical intricacies and effectively convey them to potential clients and partners. Comprehensive and continuous product training will be provided.
  • Present a professionally and exhibit an outgoing, friendly attitude.
  • Possess strong organisational skills, focus, and a sales-oriented mindset, coupled with excellent management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication, adept at maintaining positive relationships with clients, sales partners, and colleagues.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including efficient use of MS Office suite.
  • Demonstrate confidence in taking initiative and identifying opportunities for product, process, and service enhancements.
  • Enjoy nurturing and leading a sales-driven team.
  • Access to personal transportation and a valid, clean UK driving license are prerequisites.
  • Extensive travel, primarily within the UK and Ireland, with occasional international trips, is an integral aspect of this role.
