Enso Recruitment is delighted to be working alongside a growing Cyber Security consultancy who are recruiting for the role of Business Development Executive.

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations & building strong customer relationships. You will have a combination of sales acumen & excellent communication skills – whilst having a technical background is beneficial, it is not paramount to success in this role.

The Role

  • Develop a deep understanding of the products, services, and solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements relevant to their offerings.
  • Demonstrate the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Assist the sales team in preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, providing technical information, and addressing any concerns or objections.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Assist in preparing sales reports and forecasts to provide insights and support decision-making.

The Skills

  • Previous experience in a technical sales role or a combination of technical and sales experience is preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
