Enso Recruitment is delighted to be working alongside a growing Cyber Security consultancy who are recruiting for the role of Business Development Executive.
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations & building strong customer relationships. You will have a combination of sales acumen & excellent communication skills – whilst having a technical background is beneficial, it is not paramount to success in this role.
The Role
Develop a deep understanding of the products, services, and solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements relevant to their offerings.
Demonstrate the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Assist the sales team in preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers.
Respond to customer inquiries, providing technical information, and addressing any concerns or objections.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in the CRM system.
Assist in preparing sales reports and forecasts to provide insights and support decision-making.
The Skills
Previous experience in a technical sales role or a combination of technical and sales experience is preferred.
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
Self-motivated with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
