Our client is a Data Engineering company who help customers and partners build and operate data platforms on AWS, Azure and Multi-cloud.
They are now seeking to grow their presence within the Dublin market and we are seeking a seasoned Software Solutions Bid Manager for their team.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of the business by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and leveraging their in-depth knowledge of Azure and AWS Cloud solutions. Identify, pursue, close and grow new business opportunities in alignment with growth strategy in the Republic of Ireland.
Develop bids that will lead to the establishment of successful client partnerships and major deal wins.
Lead the bid team in preparing proposals, RFP responses, and technical documentation.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of bids, clients and projects.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to generate bid leads and nurture client relationships.
Initially targeting the Irish Transport and Logistics Sector but broadening out into other sectors over time.
Possess understanding of AWS and Azure Cloud solutions and services.
Provide technical guidance and insights to clients, helping them make informed decisions about cloud adoption.
Stay updated on the latest Azure and AWS trends, services, and best practices.
Establish and nurture strong client relationships, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
Conduct technical consultations and presentations to effectively communicate value proposition.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's degree is a plus.
5+ Years’ experience in a commercially focused software solutions role
Self-motivated with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure Cloud solutions and services.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
AWS or Azure certifications are a plus.
Salary & Package
Base Salary: €60-80k
Commission: Uncapped (OTE €120-160K)
24 days holiday per year plus 10 statutory holidays
