It's been a busy quarter for the Enso team! Between many great events, lots of great new roles, partnerships, events and company away days; it's been a busy time for our team - in the very best of ways!

Business

This quarter in addition to existing roles, Enso Recruitment was retained to recruit for a total of 58 new roles within the tech sector in Northern Ireland with 17 software teams. We successfully placed a total of 38 positions, helping our clients to grow great teams and accelerating our candidates’ careers.

We also announced an exclusive partnership with OCO Global to recruit for a Head of Commercial position within their team. OCO Global helps economies around the world to realise the benefits of international trade and investment. We’ve been helping this fantastic, truly homegrown organisation secure great people for their team. Here’s to a bright future between OCO and Enso!

We also completed the Agile Business Growth Framework with Peter Russell who has been guiding us through this process over the last number of months. As a fast growing and ambitious business, having the opportunity to work with Peter has really helped us to understand how to achieve our growth objectives through our mission of transforming the recruitment experience, one connection at a time, through quality-led recruitment solutions.

Events

There have been so many amazing events this quarter that the Enso team have had the pleasure of attending and being a part of. Beginning with the great NI Cyber event which included an insightful discussion and special guest appearance from Joe Kennedy. It was great to see the local NI cyber scene continuing to be recognised at a global level.

Members of the Enso team attended a fantastic Diversity Mark event. They highlighted the importance of diversity within the workplace and how being actionable can improve employee morale, productivity and workplace culture. This was such an engaging, open and honest conversation.

Members of the Enso team attended Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Business Breakfast in the gorgeous Custom House! This event included 3 fantastic speakers who shared their great wisdom and insight into all things marketing. (We don't think anyone came away from the event without at least 2 pages of notes wrote down!)

A key highlight event was the OWASP Belfast meetup, hosted by OWASP Belfast and ESO. There were a host of fantastic speakers who covered topics such as Threat Modelling, OWASP Top 10, OWASP Defence Automation and the value of the NI Cyber tech community.

And who could forget about Digital DNA Belfast 2023!? Amazing merch and fantastic food aside, the venue was as stunning as ever and there were a host of insightful talks showcasing the talent that present within the NI tech sector…all round a first class event!

The Enso team attended their first ever Big Boost Monday at the lovely Synechron Belfast office. We don’t think we’ve ever been to an event with such positive energy! Hearing the journeys, and experiences of all these great women within the tech sector was inspiring and had everyone in the room listening so intently!

The Enso Team

We’ve had such great weather this quarter, and with the implementation of Summer Hours on a Friday, this has we now have a few extra hours each Friday to wind down for the week and get out into that amazing sunshine (most of the time)!

Outside of work, the Enso has been getting involved in a host of team building. The first being the Belfast City Marathon where Enso entered two teams. Everyone in the team ran brilliantly, the times clocked in were fantastic…and the celebratory drinks afterwards weren’t too bad either!

Team Enso also headed off to the sunny shores of Carlingford to spend the day at the Carlingford Adventure Centre where there were competitive bouts of archery, axe throwing, wall climbing and jumping from terrifyingly high ledges! After a fun day of team building, we stayed in the amazing setting of Ghan House Hotel where we had a fantastic meal before heading into the town to sample the night life of Carlingford.

It may sound cliché, but here at Enso we truly do work hard and play hard. We deliver for our clients and our candidates, and we connect with and support the tech community in Northern Ireland.

Whether you are growing a great tech team, or seeking to further your tech career, get in touch our team and we will help you to achieve your ambitions!
